Thread cutting tools and precision tools as well as components are product solutions that HAKOS has been manufacturing for decades. As a result, HAKOS has a great deal of experience and is able to solve even the most complex requirements with the greatest process reliability. This also includes the project planning of thread cutting tools, precision tools and CNC machining being carried out by experienced employees.

Tapping tools

High demands are placed on the thread cutting tools. The thread cutting tools ordered by our customers are manufactured according to drawings. The threads to be machined impress with their enormous precision and increased tear-out strength. Various materials are used in the manufacture of thread cutting tools. This can be free-cutting steel, stainless steel, titanium, medical steel, brass or special alloys. Thread cutting tools are used in the electrical industry, in medical technology, in the optical industry and in numerous other areas.

The threading tools made of HSSE or PM steel manufactured by HAKOS can be roughly divided into special taps, special thread formers and special carbide milling cutters. The HAKOS employees will be happy to advise you on the selection of the specific thread cutting tools and suitable materials.

Precision tools

Precision tools are individually manufactured as one-offs or small series and meet the highest standards in terms of quality and accuracy. The machinery at HAKOS is state-of-the-art, so that all manufacturing processes can be carried out reliably in-house. The express sampling of the precision tools is another strength of HAKOS and the basis for manufacturing the desired precision tools without unnecessary time delays. Test special taps are only payable after the customer has found them to be good.

CNC grinding

Precision grinding on CNC processing machines is one of the most important manufacturing processes at HAKOS. These include, above all, CNC internal cylindrical grinding, CNC external cylindrical grinding, CNC form grinding, CNC thread grinding and center lock grinding. But of course HAKOS also uses manufacturing processes such as CNC milling and CNC turning.
